  7. This song just came on; I am fondly reminded of an old brief friend of mine.

Take 2 - with photos this time!

Apparently I don’t know how to properly attach photos this fancy newfangled Tumblr thing. So, a repost:

The gentleman and I recently stayed at a beautiful old bed and breakfast just outside of town. Our accommodations were in a separate one bedroom cabin with antique furniture, creaky wooden floors and delightfully unsettling portraits on the wall. We joked about how the place was most certainly haunted. I took a couple of photos purely for the purpose of supernatural research. We saw nothing, neither with our eyes or iphones, and were greatly disappointed by this.

However when I later attempted to email a photo of myself in the bedroom mirror in order to examine it closer on my larger laptop screen, it came across as this:

The shot looked perfectly normal on my iphone screen. I figured it was a fluke, so I tried it again. This time, it arrived in my inbox as this:

Third time’s a charm, maybe? This time I reduced the size of the image a bit before sending:

I tried emailing another picture to myself, from the same camera app, but one that I had taken more recently at home. It came across just fine. I tried another photo of me in the cabin in the bedroom, a different shot than the first, and received this:

A picture of the kitchen in the cabin:

A photo of the hallway. This one came across fine:

At least, I think it did. I’m too scared to look too closely at it right now.
